Subject: I was here~!
I was at this show.. now, i havent listened to this recording, and i have never seen them before... HOWEVER, i have been to many shows before and this one had BY FAR the worst crowd ever.

WORST..

CROWD..

EVER..

haha about half the people were over 40 years old. not to say that is bad, but in this case..
no one was dancing, there was no energy.
now dont get me wrong, the band was still great (obviously), but the energy was all comming from the players and none from the crowd, except for me :-P.

if i had to guess, i would guess that this is one of the less awesome shows of this particular tour.

when compared to ALL music, i give it 4 stars
when compared to DTB i give it 2 stars

i took an average :)

Subject: Strange .zip file....
First off, HUGE THANK YOU to Nick. You never disappiont, but in sound quality and speed of delivery.

With that said - there are two odd facts about the .zip file. 1) It has ALL the formats included - FLAC, Ogg, vbr mp3, and 64k mp3 but 2) only the FLAC formatted show is there in it's entirety. Neither is a huge deal - I'm happy to have the show in any way/shape/form I can - just thought the info may be useful to others.

As to the show - I thought it was just an "average" perfomance by the guys - but I know that taken in perspective that still means that this is 10 thousand times better than 99% of the music out there and I definitely had a great time at Avalon on Saturday.

"Feel So Bad" in particular was absolutely stellar - probably the best performance of the song that I remember being present for...

so the last two tracks are present in the .zip file, but absent from the list of individual files?
weird.
I could have sworn that they were all uploaded before I processed the show. And if they are available in the whole enchelada .zip file..then I guess they must have been there to begin with?

any way..i'm uploading the entire thing again, and its almost finished. Perhaps an admin can straighten this out.
24bit version is also uploaded, and pending approval.

The missing tracks are there in the zip file in FLAC format.

The sound quality on this is very good, and the show is absolutely fantastic - Solid set and amazing performance. Recommended.

Please don't trade without the full set.
